ABOUT THE ARTIST
It all starts with a vision, a concept in the imagination, a more or less conscious
idea of a way to materialize my emotions, to create art, to make that photo appear exactly
the same way as it looked to me through the viewfinder. That is the goal, for one to
see, to understand and appreciate my art, that is when I feel I have succeeded as a
photographer, as an artist.
There is much more to a photograph then shapes and colors; there's character. The
eyes are the windows to the soul; step back a bit, let them wonder, let your mind
and heart be drawn into the picture, and you'll find that what might seem to be
a simple photo can turn into captivating art.
Photography has been labeled "painting with light". It's a mighty beautiful brush
if used properly. The camera has the ability to put things in a completely different light,
and even the simple things around us can be completely changed by different perspectives,
or focus. There is beauty all around us, but unfortunately most of it goes by unnoticed.
An artist's purpose is to capture that beauty, with a pencil, a brush, a chisel, or a camera.
That is what I do. That is the vision within.

Frank’s techniques are stunning, and his eye for the human condition is apparent in every image he captures.
