Live and Unplugged--Best-known for such films as Terms of Endearment, Gettysburg, and yes , Dumb and Dumber, Jeff has been writing songs since the early 70's, something most people didn't know because he kept it to himself. A few years ago someone suggested that he might be able to raise some funds for his pet project, the Purple Rose Theatre in his Michigan hometown, by going on stage and singing some of his humorous and often touching reflections on his life and career. Lo and behold, a musical star was born! One minute he's singing about the joys of being killed by Clint Eastwood; next he bares his heart in a song about his first date with his future wife, Kathy.
